GTK+-2.6 Plans
Overview
With all the API additions in 2.4 we need a release on the
shorter end of things to consolidate. Therefore, we're trying
for a GTK+ release in a 9-12 month timescale again.
It is not clear yet which features will be done in the timeframe
for 2.6, but possible "major themes" for the 2.6 release are
- Win32 support - integration of Win32 native theme,
IME IMModule
- Replacing libgnome/libgnomeui - Wizard, App window,
command line option parsing, session management
